We typically plan to build a website in three months. Some smaller sites will be completed in only two months, but to be safe, plan for three months unless you have a large website, which could take longer.
Most likely, your website is not properly optimized for Google. The other issue with most small business websites is that there is not enough content on each page to give Google enough context about what you do.
